This plow design will work on most four wheel drive radio control vehicles that can accept a 4 or 6 six channel radio. It is designed for hobby grade RC's. I am offering for sale, the instructions for building your own customized plow for your R/C truck. It can be raised, lowered, angled, and you can even apply down-pressure, all by remote control, with this uniquely designed plow. You can turn your radio controlled truck into a fun way to clear snow, or just use it to have some fun. This durable design is built with common tools, and the instructions are very detailed, with many pictures and other illustrations. I have seen a number of attempts at making RC plows over the years, and most of them really don't appear to be very useful or amusing. My first design wasn't any better. This design began with a very rudimentary type of blade, that was loosely attached to one of my RC trucks many years ago. I was not at all happy with the way it looked or operated. It was very basic. As I tried to create something better. I added parts, and changed the design numerous times. I went through many broken servos and other parts. It took months and months of trial and error to finally come up with the design in it's current form. As I used and abused each version, I began to understand how complicated a plow actually is. This is especially true when it has to be scaled down in size and weight. The entire structure of the plow, and it's various parts, work together to absorb both normal and unexpected impacts. I have yet to damage my truck, or the plow structure and components, since I adopted this latest version. And yes, I have abused it thoroughly. The design is unique. It may be unique enough to be patented, but I don't have the funds available right now to patent it. It is an expensive and complicated process. I do know that I have up to one year to apply for a patent after first public viewing, or sale. It can be used for plowing snow, sand, loose dirt, or even gravel. All of the instructions (over 80 pages of instructional material) are presented in printable PDF file format. I also include winterization tips.
Some examples.
